WELCOME TO DEPARTMENT OF SOUTH CAROLINA

Commander Janet Chisolm-Richard 2024-2025 - REMEMBER, FORGIVE, SERVE
As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group. Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.

Commander's Corner

Commander Janet Chisolm-Richard

Thank you for allowing me to serve during this momentous year.

Thanks to all of my mentors and Chief of Staff Robert Holsclaw.

Thanks for the prayers during my battle with cancer. Prayer’s work. My church, neighbors, and family (hereditary and military).

This year is our Veterans of Foreign Wars of the US 125th year of serving veterans.

It is the national home 100th year of service.

This is also an election year.  Hold a town hall meeting, a registration drive, or drive voters to the poll.

The focus is on remembering the past and our contributions to the us and our veterans.  Along with remembering we are going to forgive the not so pleasant behaviors of the past. We are here to serve.  We are representative of a great organization.
