Devastating fires in Maui Hawaii

VFW National Headquarters - 8/14/2023

VFW Department of Hawaii Commander Ron Shadle has informed us that the devastation on Maui is significant and has affected thousands with a death toll of 67 this morning.

They are asking for financial assistance to bring relief supplies and aide to those members and their families affected.

To help donations go further and as we have done with past disasters, we will match dollar for dollar up to $30,000.00 from the disaster relief fund that we receive earmarked for Hawaii Fires.

By now, we are all acutely aware of the unimaginable devastation that’s swept Maui. There is no doubt that veterans, service members and their families impacted by this unthinkable disaster are in need of our help.

Pleasemake a donation to the VFW’s Disaster Relief efforts in Maui at your earliest convenience to ensure much-needed aid reaches those in the Pacific whose lives have been forever changed.

In order to track donations, send your donation to
