District 1 is one of eight Districts within the Department of South Carolina. Located in the low country of South Carolina District 1 is made up of 10 VFW Post ranging from North Charleston to Beaufort to Walterboro SC.

Berkeley, Dorchester, Charleston, Colleton, Beaufort, and Jasper counties.
